We have finally had a chance to upload our Blue Ridge Church Furniture Catalog AND our new 2013-Chair Flyer.

You can see them at this location.

My friend Ed and I paid a visit to Blue Ridge Church Furniture in August 2013, this year. They gave us a tour of their 3 main sites. Those were their bookstore called Churchmart.com where I met the founder of the company Scott Gabrielson.

The second site was their main construction facility just outside Rocky Mount, Virginia where they build the wooden parts of their pews.

The third site was their warehouse right in Rocky Mount. We were impressed as we watched workers unpacking and brushing off each chair to make sure their was no construction debris that had stuck to the fabric. They also checked each chair thoroughly for construction problems. If there is any problem at all, the chair is immediately removed from the group and placed in a factory seconds clearance room.

Great care to do their very best was evident everywhere we went totally confirming my decision to sell Blue Ridge Furniture

when I was asked

I took Ed, who has been my friend for many years, to see the largest and most beautiful cavern in the East, Luray Caverns at Luray Virginia. Then after spending the next day touring BRCF, we headed to Richmond area, traveling to Charles City (No city there! … all very rural!) to see probably the oldest plantation house still standing where at one time or another, each of the first 10 presidents of the United States, had visited.

Very interesting tour! We also discovered that that house was the scene of the VERY FIRST THANKSGIVING CELEBRATION IN the United States, several years before the one in Massachusetts, with apologies to my daughter, Ann’s family home. Sorry we had to burst your bubble!
